Current Projects

My interests within the TK Lab relate to my position as a researcher and laboratory manager.

I currently work on high-resolution 3D imaging of cells using focused ion beam scanning electron microscopy(FIB-SEM). With this microscope I am able to facilitate the imaging and sample preparation aspects in collaboration with lab colleagues to elucidate a variety of biological questions.

I also work in collaboration with Dr. Ricardo Correia to visualize high-resolution, three-dimensional fluorescence microscopy imaging of sub-cellular structure in tissue based Drosophila melanogaster samples. This research is performed through the utilization of lattice light sheet with adaptive optics microscopy (LLSM-AO).

As the lab manager I facilitate the overall organization, Safety, external communication and equipment use within the TKlab.
