Current Projects

Phosphoinositides regulate membrane traffic, define organelle identity and mediate signal transduction. I work on developing sensors that selectively report the phosphoinositide composition of clathrin-associated structures and use of these sensors to follow the dynamics of phosphoinositide conversion. I am also interested in understanding the regulatory roles of phosphoinositides in the uncoating of clathrin-coated vesicles.
